Cambridge Zombie Walk

The Cambridge Zombie Walk is always a fun day. The sun was shining on us, so it was a good day for a walk! This year a mini Horror-Con was added to the zombie walk and there were tables set up with vendors selling everything from custom dresses and jewelry to VHS and yummy chocolates and cupcakes.

I did not zombify myself this year but I did wear a pretty dress from Delerium in Kitchener.  The dress has glow in the dark skeletons!

Halloween Costumes

Every year people always ask me what I am going dress up as for Halloween. I went to the grocery store today and the cashier was so excited to talk about Halloween with me that I didn't want to disappoint her. Whenever someone asks lately, I just say "Halloween is everyday for me". Honestly, on Halloween night I like to relax. I put on a long dress and my witch hat to answer the door for all the adorable trick or treaters but I rarely go anywhere that night. Instead, I usually watch Trick R Treat and then John Carpenter's Halloween that night.

For me, the whole month of October is one long Halloween celebration. I try to do a couple of Zombie walks and other events that I get to dress up for. So it's difficult to answer the question of what are you going to be this Halloween? Lots of things!

Here are a few costumes from previous years.
I have dressed as a zombie bride...

And a Day of the Dead zombie...

I am not sure about this years zombie walk. I want to look like I walked out of crypt. Like I just awoke from an old grave. Like I belong in a black and white Gothic Horror movie from the 60s.
